Krystel Bassil
Founder & Senior Consultant
Krystel is a senior expert in business, human rights, and sustainability, providing consulting services, to both the private and public sectors globally, with a particular focus on the MENA region.

With a background as a practicing lawyer in the MENA region, Krystel brings a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory landscape, applying this expertise to her consulting work.

Her work includes leading the design and execution of comprehensive strategies, conducting due diligence, and performing impact assessments, all while ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. Additionally, she is experienced in training and capacity building, enabling organizations to integrate human rights and sustainability practices into their operations.
She has successfully navigated complex, high-stakes issues in engagements with NGOs, UN agencies, and state actors, demonstrating her ability to address sensitive matters on the global stage. In 2023, she was a featured speaker at the UN Forum on Business and Human Rights, where she shared insights on the opportunities and challenges for achieving sustainability in the Middle East from the private sector’s perspective.
She is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Nourah Al Sulaiman
Consultant
Nourah is a dedicated human rights expert and legal consultant with over 8 years of experience in human rights law, international organisations, research, policy analysis, and project management across the Global South particularly in the GCC. Proven track record of advancing the rights of vulnerable communities through grassroots initiatives, legal and policy reform, and stakeholder engagement. Skilled in thematic research, primarily on South-to-South migration, and in developing and implementing impactful, evidence-based policies recommendations and programs. Brings a strategic and justice- driven approach to navigating complex legal, socio-political, and economic landscapes.
She holds a BA in International Relations (Minor in History) from the American University of Kuwait and an MA in Human Rights Law (Distinction) from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
She is fluent in English and Arabic.
